Inspired by High on The Hog, Legacies & Recipes is an original educational miniseries that lives on the Netflix Futures YouTube channel. The animated short, illustrated by D’Ara Nazaryan, reimagines the themes, learnings and storytelling of High On The Hog through the lens of a child as she explores Black cuisine around her family’s Sunday dinner table.

our PROJECT SCOPE

With the purpose of introducing the historical content and context in the series to children worldwide, our team led this project from concept to execution, inclusive of the following scope:

  • Animated miniseries ideation, development and production

  • Creative direction

  • Cause-driven marketing

  • Script development and copywriting
